Stone and concrete sea defences
The Cambrian Coast Railway runs along the top of the sea wall just where the coast turns slightly northward but that is sufficient to create a pressure point as the sea tries to straighten it out. To ensure safety of the railway a concrete wall has been built on the apex defended to north & south by a large stone barrier.
