At this point, the Oxford Canal can be seen in the distance making a 180 degree turn as it skirts the bottom of the hill north of Wormleighton. The canal in this area makes a curious and very convoluted route (including another '180') as it skirts the hill above it; a true 'contour hugging' canal!
