Dredging the Chesterfield Canal
This section of the Chesterfield Canal has been dredged recently. The silt was sucked out of the canal and was then pumped into porous bags on the bank. Once the water drained from the bags they were opened to reveal the silt mats seen in this picture. The plan is to spread out the soil and plant it with a wildflower mix
