St Laurence's Church, Ludlow
St Laurence's Church, Ludlow
The tower of St Laurence's Church, seen from Whitcliffe across the rooftops of Ludlow. In the background is Brown Clee.

The tower was built around 1469 as part of a major rebuilding of a church that probably dated back to the 12th century.

Three other churches (or former churches) can be seen in this photo. On the left is the domed St Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Henley Road, on the right is the bell tower of St John's Church on Gravel Hill, and in the bottom of the photo is the cupola of the former St Thomas's Chapel on Dinham.
