Drewton Estate, East Yorks
The view south-west over the Drewton Estate from West Hill extends across the Humber to North Lincolnshire. The Drewton Estate includes broadleaved and coniferous woodland through which runs the disused Hull and Barnsley railway line. There are small patches of fen, a stream in the valley bottom and pasture and arable farming along the valley sides. It is a popular area with birdwatchers: buzzards, marsh tits and red kites are in residence.
