Viewed across Garth Road (the A5). Built as Tabernacl (Calvinistic Methodist) chapel in 1903-1905.
The usual spelling was the Welsh form Tabernacl. Dwindling membership led to closure in 1968.
Grade II listed in March 1988. Now (March 2012) in use as flats.
