The Sapper’s Bridge was built in May 2006 by members of the Royal Engineers to provide access to the Church Glebe which had been isolated when the old bridge was destroyed by a tree washed down the river during a storm In January, 1993, leaving the people of Luss with no access to the beautiful almost twenty-five acre glebe.
