Old Ox -Bow Lake
Old Ox -Bow Lake
Receding floodwaters reveal the former course of the Water of Girvan at Garpin Farm. With the outline softened by cultivation, the old ox-bow is hard to detect at any other time. This photograph contrasts well with the first geograph for the square, taken in September sunshine.
