Barden Lake, Haysden Country Park
Barden Lake was formed when sand and gravel were extracted between 1974 and 1980. The material was dug with large dragline excavators and taken to a processing site half a mile away near Haysden Lake. The average depth of the lake is about twelve feet. The River Medway lies just beyond the trees on the right. The lake is part of Haysden Country Park.
