A Bus in Wolverhampton Bus Station
A Bus in Wolverhampton Bus Station
Taken in August 1968, this photo shows a 1965 Guy Arab V with Weymann 72-seater bodywork in the bus station about to leave on route 21 to Cannock. This route was operated by Wolverhampton Corporation Transport from its depot in Park Lane, but is now worked by Arriva as route 70 from its Cannock depot. Victoria Square can be seen in the background, whilst Railway Drive is to the left of the photo with a Midland Red bus just visible. The Bus Station has since moved to Piper's Row a short distance away, but route 70 now leaves from Stafford Street in the city centre.
