SE4516 : Towards Rockingham Gorse

taken 12 years ago, near to Low Ackworth, Wakefield, England

Towards Rockingham Gorse
Towards Rockingham Gorse
Rockingham Gorse is the square patch of wood, in SE4616. Beyond and to its right is the Thorpe Gate Estate - see SE4715 : Thorpe Gate Estate [eastern end]. This view across farmland is from a train travelling between Sheffield and York, which had been diverted away from the intended Wakefield / Leeds route because of signalling problems.
