Steps to former GWR footbridge, Baskerville
Steps to former GWR footbridge, Baskerville, taken 5 years ago
These steps lead up from Baskerville to a former railway footbridge, which once crossed the Malmesbury branch line. The last passenger train ran on 8th September 1951, and goods traffic continued until 1962. The line was taken up the following year. The steps still form part of a public footpath, though underneath the bridge is half buried under garden landscaping.
