West Tower of Aberdeen's Victorian Town House, built by Peddie & Kinnear (1868-74). The council has recently (2011) moved into the Marischal College building which had major internal building works.
The foreground statue is "The Mannie in the Green" (1706). It stands on a wellhead which has been moved from The Green to become the Castlegate Well.
