The entrance to the now defunct St Andrew’s (Anglican) Church school off Raleigh St. The school ceased to operate as a school in 1905 and since then the buildings have been used for various purposes by the Church and the community. Some consideration was given to the idea of using the premises as a Centre for Healing and Reconciliation in 2006 to complement other initiatives that included an ecumenically run mentoring scheme for recovering drug users and another for outreach work with prostitutes. The most prominent enterprise on the site at present seems to be a YMCA Healthy Living fitness suite.
