Straw pile and feeders, May's Wood
Straw pile and feeders, May's Wood
Between the grain feeders a bed of straw trailed up the slope, showing a number of burrows like the one below centre. Awaiting explanation.
May’s Wood
May’s Wood is pleasant and spacious mixed woodland managed by the West Midlands Forest District of the Forestry Commission, England, based at Rugeley, Staffordshire. The wood occupies about 20 hectares on a low summit northwest of Wootton Wawen. There is public access from Mayswood Road. At the time of the photograph a public consultation was being held about the Forest Design Plan for the wood.
