Cut bench mark on St James' church tower
Cut bench mark on St James' church tower
This bench mark is on the west face of the north west buttress of the tower. The mark first appears on the 1965 O.S. map levelled at 55.30 feet and is not the 1GL mark with bolt that was levelled at 56.2 feet and was shown on the early maps on the north face of the tower. That early mark was last shown on the 1920 O.S map.
