SJ3489 : The Liver buildings & Albert Dock

The Liver buildings & Albert Dock
Liverpool's famous waterfront, photo taken from inside the Maritime museum on Albert Dock, old tug boats in one of the many docks, the river Mersey to the left of the photo, the far left bank of the river, Birkenhead, Wallasey and New Brighton.
Years ago New Brighton was the place that thousands of Merseyside people went for their holidays, in those days holidays meant a day out not one or two weeks like today.
New Brighton had a tower just like Blackpool's, sadly well since gone to the scrap heap.
