Fleet Drain
Fleet Drain
This is a minor surface rainwater drain that drains the fields just east of Hull into the River Humber. The photo was taken looking south westwards from the new Hedon Road carriageway and is 20m into the allotted square! The elevated conveyor belt in the distance is at the site of the huge imported coal area (see two of the other photographs in this square) to the east of Queen Elizabeth/King George Dock.
