This is the quadrangle of King’s College London to the left is the newly renamed “King’s Building” Designed by Sir Robert Smirke 1752-1845 LinkExternal link
At the far end is “The Old Principals House” and to the right is the East Wing of Somerset House a piece or real estate that KCL has coveted for generations! In the quad today are members of the T&GWU protesting about the poor conditions of contract cleaners these flying pickets had just come hot foot from Hamleys the Toy Store in Regent St.
