Welshpool Tesco

As part of their ongoing invasion of Wales, Tesco purchased the recently vacated livestock market site in Welshpool to build a new store. There were also plans to include several other shop units on the site but as of May 2012 these have not come to fruition.
As part of the planning permission Tesco also took on the task of creating the Welshpool one-way system. This met with local opposition both before and after its adoption.
