Behind the church a large block of slate is carved in the style of a viewfinder. Local mountains are named but try as I might I could not catch a glimpse of the distant Mount Taranaki, New Zealand. A 'Memorial Stone' is marked on the map here but this stone appears a recent addition. I do not recall seeing it on my last visit.
