The Stour Estuary Nature Reserve includes land which runs along the River Stour and bird hides managed by the RSPB Link and Stour Wood managed by the Woodland Trust Link

The Essex Way Link runs through the Reserve, and the Essex Wildlife Trust Copperas Wood Link adjoins the Reserve.
