Andrew Lamb's House
Andrew Lamb's House
Thought to have been built in 1587 by wealthy merchant Andrew Lamb, this is one of very few surviving houses of that date. An information board across the street suggests that the house built by Andrew Lamb may have been, not this one but another nearby, now lost. Compare with NT2776 : Andrew Lamb's House (1971), NT2776 : Lamb's House (2007), NT2776 : Lamb's House, Burgess Street (2009), NT2776 : Lamb's House, Leith - 2011 (2011) and NT2776 : Lamb's House (2013).
