Guildford Railway Station
Guildford Railway Station
Guildford is a gap town in the North Downs. The railway here follows the Wey Valley and the station is an important junction. Northwards, the lines splay out in directions of Aldershot, Woking and London. Southwards, they make for Dorking, Gatwick and Portsmouth. On the skyline is Guildford Cathedral which was begun in 1936.
