A close up of part of the path showing what the ground is like on one of the rockier sections. Peat is never far away, although the walking generally was not as bad underfoot as anticipated (a couple of wet recent months following a long relatively dry period before hand - it was my first visit so I have no personal means of comparison to "normal" conditions).
