Hemerdon Mine - Core Shed
Hemerdon Mine - Core Shed
The former WW2 tungsten sorting facilities. Tungsten was used for armour piercing shells but labour problems meant this venture was unsucessful. The dangerous structures are to be demolished soon to make way for the new Hemerdon Tungsten mine.

This is the core shed from 1980s drilling programme.
