Shard London Bridge is the tallest building the European Union, and possibly in the whole of Europe (depending what stage of completion the Mercury City Tower in Moscow has reached).

Guy's Hospital, to its right, is the tallest hospital building in the entire world.

One Canada Square (Canary Wharf, in the distance) has been the tallest completed building in the United Kingdom since 1991, and will remain so until superseded by the Shard.
