Looking down St Aldate's, Oxford
Taken in September 1968, this photo shows St Aldate's with the Tom Tower of Christ Church College in the middle. An AEC Renown bus with Park Royal 65-seater bodywork dating from the mid-1960s and operated by City of Oxford Motor Services Ltd, can be seen picking up passengers in front of it. To the right of the bus is a clock and a blue RAC flag. The Royal Automobile Club used to have its South Midland Counties Office at 97 St Aldate's at that time.
