Interior, All Saints' church, Harmston
Grade II* Listed
The church of All Saints is built of stone in a medieval style but only the tower is thought to be of the 11th and 12th century. The church was rebuilt in 1717, and consists of chancel, clerestorial nave of three bays, aisles, south porch and the embattled western tower with pinnacles, containing a clock, with movement by Robert Bunion, Lincoln 1791 in working order, and eight bells still regularly rung.
The church affords about 200 sittings and near to the grand western tower arch can be seen the small Saxon cross carved with the crucifixion and resurrection.
The church was rebuilt and remodelled in 1868 and the vestry and organ chamber added. There are two monuments to the Thorold family from 1722 and 1738.
