The almost square and roofless structure is well built. It has a doorway and what appears to be a window. External corners are rounded, but are square inside. It was probably a shieling, but is not built in the style of the many ruined shielings in the area, which have curved walls and are often divided into two rooms. This ruin is built on a mound which shows evidence of having been the site of an earlier and larger structure. Wider view: NG2143 : Ruin below Beinn na h-Uamha, wide view.
The mass of Healabhal Mhor rises beyond.
