King of the Mountain - a Raven on the Sugar Loaf

One of a pair of garrulous ravens up here on the summit today. I was admiring his airmanship, his sleek plumage, the sheen of his flight feathers, his vitality and mastery of his environment. Then he flew over to a recently dead ewe I had failed to notice in a rocky crevice and hopped into her carcase and I felt slightly differently about his jaunty air.
