See also SY6778 : Boat Train to Weymouth Quay. The shiny rails suggest that the Weymouth Quay tramway is still in use but that is not the case - they have just been buffed by passing road vehicles. At other locations the tracks are rusted and overgrown as the last train ran over the line in 1999. No use for it is now envisaged and it will most likely be formally closed.
