Somers Place
Somers Place
A short street between Church Hill and Portland Place West (behind the camera). It takes its name from Earl Somers, a 19th-century grandee who had a large villa (called Victoria Cottage, long since demolished) in Portland Place West. The white building, centre, is the Woodland Tavern on the corner of New Brook Street and Church Hill SP3165 : The Woodland Tavern.
