Somers Place
A short street between Church Hill and Portland Place West (behind the camera). It takes its name from Earl Somers, a 19th-century grandee who had a large villa (called Victoria Cottage, long since demolished) in Portland Place West. The white building, centre, is the Woodland Tavern on the corner of New Brook Street and Church Hill
