Tor Castle
Tor Castle
This is all that is left of Tor Castle, a seat of the Comyns or Cummings of Altyre. It was built in the 15th and extended periodically until the 17th century. See LinkExternal link. It is quite difficult to see the extent of the castle, partly because so little of it remains, and partly because the Doual Burn actually cuts through the middle of the original site.
