A nice peaceful, warm and sunny afternoon, when out of nowhere this low flying RAF Hercules appeared after its unofficial Dambusters nostalgia flight down the Upper Derwent valley.
Military aircraft frequently pass this way practising low flying, including aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Lime was being spread on these fields to counter the acidic ground conditions and improve hay yield next year.
