Notts - NG15 (Annesley Hall Area)
This stone retaining wall (approx 7-8 metres high) separates Annesley Church's now-redundant graveyard from a wing of the Grade II-listed Annesley Hall. The church was deconsecrated in 1874 when a newer and better located church was opened to serve the expanding village of Annesley. The church and the graveyard are controlled by the Kirkby and District Preservation Society, whilst the dilapidated hall is in private ownership and is currently "for sale".
