The living room of the chief engineer's house
The living room of the chief engineer's house
This is what the living room would possibly have looked like when Hugh Pritchard, a graduate engineer from Felinheli, lived there after his appointment in 1896. The picture on the wall on the left is Curnow Vosper's 'Capel Salem' SH6027, prints of which were mass-produced by a soap company, and until quite recently were to be found in many Welsh homes.
