This climber has failed to complete one of the fierce crack climbs (Emerald Crack, graded E3 6a) and is abseiling to retrieve gear placed on the way up. He really is a useless, fat 'punter' and will have to raise his game if he is to chalk his way up this classic Joe Brown route first ascended in 1957.
