SO8802 : St Mary's Mill, Chalford

near to Hyde, Gloucestershire, Great Britain

St Mary's Mill, Chalford
St Mary's Mill, Chalford
The 1820s main mill is to the left with the headrace in the foreground. This supplied two breast shot waterwheels of which one survives. The square brick boiler house chimney is in the background alongside a building in poor repair. The former mill office is the brick building on the right hand edge. The two halves of a pulley are ornamenting the grass in front of the mill.
