Honeysuckle and notices, Moneystone
A poem on the noticeboard, by 'A Moneystonian' gives the hamlet's potted history. "I know a little hamlet/ that's been there quite a while / the road was rough and winding / there even was a stile / the water you had to carry from a pump / or from the well / the light was from oil filled lamp / that gave off quite a smell / then people were delighted / when the water pipes were laid / and then came electric lighting / and they thought they were made / then it had a new road put through / that put Moneystone on the map /and that is that"
