TM4975 : Bridge over River Blyth

taken 6 years ago, near to Walberswick, Suffolk, Great Britain

Bridge over River Blyth
Bridge over River Blyth
This is a pedestrian bridge, formerly a railway bridge. There is no other bridge from Walberswick to Southwold, so vehicular traffic must take a long detour to get from one to the other. There is also TM4975 : Walberswick Ferry nearer the sea. More about the bridge, see LinkExternal link . As can be seen, the footpath here is raised several metres above the surrounding land.
