Strand Lane was once a public thoroughfare however since the early 1970s access to this London street has been controlled by Kings College London. The building immediately to the right is the Macadam Building which houses the Student Union. It is named after Iverson Macadam 1894 1974 the first President of the National Union of Students, read about his life at LinkExternal link. The building is connected to the Duchy of Lancaster according to a TQ3080 : Duchy Plaque on the wall. The white building at the end of the lane is TQ3080 : The Old Watch House.
