Sherlock Holmes Retirement cottage
Sherlock Holmes Retirement cottage
For a fictional character it must be unusual for a plaque to be erected on a cottage stating that Sherlock Holmes retired here and kept bees. The cottage, and indeed farms in the area have been researched from mention in the books by Conan Doyle and it seems unlikely anyone will know for sure.
