Bridgefoot canal bridge inscription 1994
Bridgefoot crosses the Stratford-upon-Avon canal where it leaves the canal basin and heads north for Birmingham. This stone set into the south parapet of the bridge reads: Bridgefoot / canal bridge / rebuilt in 1994 by / Warwickshire / County Council. An earlier notice may be seen in SP2054 : Weight restriction sign, Bridgefoot, 1874.
