People's Palace Museum and Winter Gardens
The glasshouse reputedly resembles the upturned hull of HMS Discovery. Viewed from Glasgow Green; the wheely bins and barriers are in preparation for the annual Guy Fawkes Night fireworks display. This social history museum is well worth a visit, entry is free as is the case with all Glasgow City museums.
