Bournemouth: weather dampens the Jubilee celebrations
Bournemouth: weather dampens the Jubilee celebrations
In fact, Bournemouth was luckier than the majority of the UK this Diamond Jubilee Sunday, with the wet weather holding off until 9pm, unlike London in particular, which of course was the focus of the main festivities. With just one act left to perform at Bournemouth's Jubilee beach party, the rain started falling very heavily and here we see two people with patriotic umbrellas preparing to leave the beach.

See SZ0990 : Bournemouth: Diamond Jubilee entertainment on the beach for an image of the much better weather earlier in the afternoon.
