Junction of Roych Clough with Sheffield Road
Junction of Roych Clough with Sheffield Road, taken 5 years ago
Crossroads at Sheffield Road on Rushup Edge and Rushup Lane/the Roych Clough road. The latter pair of roads are designated the Pennine Bridleway, which was (elsewhere) formally declared 'open' on the day this photograph was taken. The route along the Roych Clough road (sometimes referred to simply as the Roych) is an unsealed road. Notices near the gate explain that a voluntary one-way system is in operation for motorised traffic heading along Roych Clough to Beet Lane.
