St John the Baptist Church, Hindon
The church was built in 1870/71 and is now a Grade II listed building. The architect was Thomas Henry Wyatt (1807-1880). It is built from some stones from an earlier chapel, local Chilmark stone with some Red Bed Farleigh Down Stone. The spire is just over 100ft high.
