Worcestershire road sign
Worcestershire has distinctive signs. In the 1960s, road signs were redesigned. A lot of finger posts went. Worcestershire, and its successor Hereford and Worcester C.C. replaced them with wooden finger posts painted in the new fonts and format rather than the big ugly aluminium alloy signs that are so familiar. Most of that generation have rotted away, but the idea survives with this fingerpost in Bockleton.
