Drystone wall, Wysis Way through Siccaridge Wood, near Daneway, Gloucestershire
In contrast to the drystone walls seen in more open parts of the Cotswolds this one is heavily overgrown with moss. There is a microclimate in the Frome valley that cuts through here east to west. The top of the valley sides is some 60-70 metres higher than the valley floor which is protected from the winter winds so the air stays damp much of the time. The towpath has been co-opted by the Wysis Way long distance path.
